Restaurant Server – Full‑time On‑site Role

About the role

The Restaurant Server position is a full‑time, on‑site role in a busy dining establishment in Kathmandu. You will be the first point of contact for guests, guiding them through the menu and ensuring a pleasant dining experience from start to finish.

Key responsibilities

• Greet guests, present menus, and answer questions about food and beverages.
• Take accurate orders and communicate them clearly to kitchen and bar staff.
• Serve food and drinks promptly, check on guests throughout their visit, and address basic concerns.
• Process payments, handle bills, and operate the POS system when required.
• Maintain clean, properly set tables and turn them over efficiently between guests.
• Follow health, safety, and hygiene guidelines, keeping the work area tidy.
• Support teammates during peak periods to ensure smooth service flow.

Required profile

• Strong customer service and communication abilities.
• Ability to stand for long periods and safely carry trays or dishes.
• Attention to detail, reliability, and comfort working in a fast‑paced environment.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Basic numeracy for handling bills and payments.

Required skills

• Experience with point‑of‑sale (POS) systems (advantageous).
