Sales Officer

About the role

We are seeking a motivated and results‑oriented Sales Officer to drive sales growth, develop customer relationships and expand our market presence in the beverage/FMCG sector. The successful candidate will manage assigned territories, achieve sales targets and ensure product availability across the distribution network.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with distributors, retailers and key customers.
• Identify new sales opportunities and expand market coverage within the assigned territory.
• Achieve monthly and annual sales targets through effective planning and execution.
• Promote and sell company products to retailers, wholesalers and other business customers.
• Conduct regular market visits to monitor product availability, pricing, competitor activities and customer feedback.
• Ensure proper product placement, visibility and merchandising at retail outlets.
• Coordinate with distributors and sales teams to guarantee timely product delivery and availability.
• Prepare daily, weekly and monthly sales reports and maintain accurate sales records.
• Follow up on customer orders, payments and outstanding accounts as required.
• Support promotional campaigns, product launches and other sales activities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Management, Business Administration, Marketing or a related field.
• 2‑3 years of relevant sales experience, preferably in the FMCG or beverage industry.
• Prior experience in sales, distribution, territory management or field sales.
• Strong communication, negotiation and customer relationship management abilities.
• Good knowledge of the local market and sales distribution channels.
