Senior Barista

About the role

Roadhouse Group is seeking a Senior Barista to join its flagship café in Kathmandu. This full‑time, on‑site position focuses on delivering high‑quality coffee and beverage experiences that align with Roadhouse’s standards of taste, presentation, and hygiene.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a variety of espresso‑based drinks, coffees, and complementary menu items.
• Maintain consistency in flavor, appearance, and cleanliness of all beverages.
• Lead the bar team by example, guiding junior baristas and coordinating daily service operations.
• Conduct inventory checks, perform equipment maintenance, and ensure a well‑organized workstation.
• Engage with guests, take orders, recommend beverages, and manage peak‑hour workflows.
• Support training initiatives and uphold food safety and quality standards.

Required profile

• Previous experience as a barista, preferably in a senior or lead role.
• Strong customer‑service and interpersonal skills to create a positive guest experience.
• Clear communication abilities for interacting with guests and team members.
• Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and fast‑paced service periods.
• Commitment to teamwork, reliability, and continuous learning in specialty coffee and hospitality.
