Senior Business Development Manager

About the role

The Senior Business Development Manager will lead client acquisition and revenue growth for a leading Nepalese advertising agency. This role combines strategic prospecting, proposal management, and partnership development to expand the agency’s market presence.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and approach potential clients across advertising, branding, digital, and media services, building a strong pipeline of prospects.
• Lead client meetings, presentations, and negotiations, converting leads into confirmed projects and long‑term relationships.
• Own revenue targets, drive repeat business, upselling and cross‑selling of agency services, and explore new industry segments.
• Coordinate with creative, digital, production, and media teams to prepare compelling proposals and pitches.
• Develop and maintain relationships with media houses, TV channels, radio stations, newspapers, and online platforms to generate additional revenue streams.
• Maintain regular communication with existing clients, identify further business opportunities, and ensure high satisfaction throughout project delivery.
• Research market trends, competitor activities, and emerging advertising needs to inform business development strategy.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications or a related field.
• 4–7 years of experience in business development, sales, advertising or media, preferably within an agency environment.
• Proven track record of generating leads and converting them into clients.
• Strong network and deep understanding of the local advertising market.
