Senior Project Coordinator - UPLIFT Project

About the role

Save the Children is seeking a Senior Project Coordinator to lead the UPLIFT Project in Nepal. Reporting to the Head of Field Program Operations and working closely with the Livelihoods Specialist, the role provides strategic, technical and managerial leadership to ensure high‑quality, results‑oriented implementation across government agencies, partner NGOs and private‑sector partners.

Key responsibilities

• Lead planning and budgeting processes, develop detailed implementation plans and monitor monthly fund allocation, taking corrective actions as needed.
• Coordinate with Finance, Logistics, MEAL and other support functions to ensure compliance with Save the Children and donor policies.
• Provide technical assistance to implementing partners on life‑skills training, business incubation, green jobs and livelihood promotion.
• Conduct regular field visits, assess quality of activities, identify best practices and address implementation challenges.
• Develop and execute a private‑sector engagement plan, including partnerships with business incubators and market assessments.
• Prepare and submit project plans, progress reports and quality review reports to Save the Children Italy and other stakeholders.
• Foster collaboration with government counterparts, the private sector and the Bhutan office to maximize project impact and sustainability.
