Senior Project Coordinator – UPLIFT Project

About the role

The Senior Project Coordinator will lead the UPLIFT Project, building on the successes of the POWER 4 AY project funded by Save the Children Italy. Reporting to the Head of Field Program Operations and working with the Livelihoods Specialist, the role ensures high‑quality implementation, cross‑functional coordination and partnership management across government agencies, NGOs and the private sector.

Key responsibilities

• Lead planning and budgeting processes, develop detailed implementation plans and monitor monthly fund allocation, taking corrective actions as needed.
• Provide technical assistance to implementing partners on livelihood promotion, private‑sector job placement, micro‑enterprise development and green‑jobs standards.
• Coordinate with Finance, Logistics, MEAL, PDQI and other support functions at field and country office levels to ensure timely and compliant project delivery.
• Manage partnerships with government counterparts, NGOs and private‑sector entities to enhance youth employability and sustain project outcomes.
• Oversee monitoring systems, prepare progress and quality review reports, and ensure compliance with Save the Children International and donor policies.
