Site Surveyor – Tunnel Works

About the role

We are seeking a motivated Site Surveyor to join our tunnel works team in Lamjung District, Nepal. The role involves conducting precise topographical and alignment surveys for underground tunnel excavation and related heavy civil structures.

Key responsibilities

• Perform routine topographical, alignment, and cross‑section surveys for subterranean tunnel excavation and heavy civil structures.
• Carry out precise profile marking, laser setup, and face‑mapping assistance inside the tunnel.
• Conduct daily quantity verification, ground‑monitoring surveys, and structural checks.
• Coordinate closely with site engineers and geologists to ensure accurate line and level controls.
• Prepare daily survey data logs, profile drawings, and field reports.

Required profile

• Diploma in Survey Engineering, Geomatic Engineering, Civil Engineering or an equivalent technical qualification.
• 1–2 years of hands‑on field experience in civil construction, preferably with exposure to hydropower, roads, or underground tunnelling.
• Willingness to work in rugged terrain and site‑based conditions.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Total Station and Auto Level equipment.
• Familiarity with AutoCAD and basic survey drafting software such as SWDTM.
