Supply Chain Executive

About the role

We are seeking a proactive Supply Chain Executive to oversee procurement, import documentation, logistics, and day‑to‑day supply chain operations within the FMCG sector. The ideal candidate will have hands‑on experience with purchase orders, proforma invoices, letters of credit, and coordination with suppliers, transporters, customs, and banks.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and process Purchase Orders (POs) and maintain supporting documentation.
• Prepare, verify, and manage Proforma Invoices (PIs) and all import‑related paperwork.
• Handle LC documentation, follow‑ups, and coordination with banks, suppliers, and relevant parties.
• Coordinate with the Food Department for requests, approvals, and product/sample submissions.
• Arrange truck placement, customs clearance, transportation, and ensure timely delivery/dispatch.
• Liaise with suppliers, transporters, clearing agents, government authorities, and internal departments.
• Monitor shipment status and guarantee timely movement of goods.
• Maintain accurate records of procurement, imports, logistics, inventory, and supply‑chain activities.
• Assist with basic accounting, payment processing, and financial documentation.
• Prepare official letters, government correspondence, reports, and other business documents.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Management, Business Administration, Accounting, Supply Chain Management or a related field.
• 1–3 years of relevant experience in FMCG supplier, distributor, importer or trading company.
• Practical knowledge of PO, PI, LC, import, customs and logistics documentation.
• Understanding of FMCG procurement, distribution, transportation and supply‑chain processes.
• Experience coordinating with suppliers, transporters, clearing agents, banks and government authorities.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
• Ability to type in Nepali Unicode/Preeti.
