VDC Architect – Interior Design

About the role

Enginagar Construction Pvt. Ltd. is seeking a VDC Architect specialized in interior design to join its design team. The role focuses on developing detailed interior design documentation and supporting BIM/VDC workflows for commercial and large‑scale projects.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and coordinate interior design concepts, layouts, and detailed drawings.
• Prepare comprehensive architectural and interior design documentation for construction.
• Create furniture layouts, reflected ceiling plans, finishes, elevations, sections, and interior details.
• Coordinate interior design requirements with architectural, structural, MEP, and other disciplines.
• Review drawings and models for design consistency, constructability, and coordination.
• Support development and coordination of VDC/BIM models.
• Participate in design reviews, coordination meetings, and project discussions.
• Prepare material, finish, and furniture schedules as required.
• Identify design conflicts and coordinate solutions with relevant project teams.
• Ensure drawings and models comply with project standards and quality requirements.
• Assist in quantity take‑offs and documentation related to interior works when needed.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Interior Design, or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of professional experience, preferably with strong exposure to interior design projects.
• Strong understanding of interior design principles, space planning, materials, finishes, furniture, and detailing.
• Good coordination and communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary environment.

Required skills

• Proficiency in AutoCAD.
• Knowledge of Revit Architecture and BIM workflows.
• Experience with ACC or other BIM/VDC platforms.
• Familiarity with BIM standards, LOD, and model coordination processes.
