Warehouse & Inventory Assistant – Engineering Firm

About the role

We are seeking a diligent Warehouse & Inventory Assistant to support our engineering operations in Tripureshwor, Kathmandu. The role involves managing stock movements, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring a safe, organized warehouse environment.

Key responsibilities

• Receive, store, and organize inventory, assigning appropriate bin or rack locations.
• Issue products and spare parts against approved sales invoices, delivery challans, or other authorized documents.
• Monitor stock levels and coordinate with the Procurement team for timely replenishment.
• Conduct periodic stock counts, assist with monthly reconciliations, and support annual physical inventory verification.
• Investigate inventory variances, report discrepancies, and recommend corrective actions.
• Maintain warehouse cleanliness, safety, and compliance with storage and handling procedures.
• Prepare and update warehouse records such as Goods Receipt Notes, Delivery Challans, Stock Issue Register, Tools Inward/Outward Register, and Fuel Register.
• Collaborate with Procurement, Finance, Sales, and Service departments to ensure efficient inventory movement and accurate documentation.
• Support loading, unloading, packing, and dispatch activities as needed.
• Handle invoice delivery, cheque collection, and other document‑related tasks assigned by the Head of Department.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree.
• Open to fresh graduates as well as candidates with relevant experience.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately under pressure.
• Good organizational skills and a commitment to safety and cleanliness.
