Account Assistant

About the role

We are seeking a motivated and detail‑oriented Account Assistant to support the day‑to‑day accounting and financial operations of Meatco Food Nepal. The role involves handling billing, recording transactions, and maintaining accurate financial records in a fast‑moving food production environment.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare daily customer billing using Vision Software.
• Maintain proper filing of financial documents and transaction records.
• Record daily receipts and payments accurately.
• Track customer invoices and payment records in the company’s prescribed format.
• Enter daily purchase transactions into Vision Software.
• Handle petty cash and keep records of petty‑cash expenses.
• Update and maintain the bank book and cash book.
• Assist in overall accounting activities as required by the company.
• Perform other accounting and administrative duties assigned by management.

Required profile

• Organized and eager to learn.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Basic understanding of accounting principles.
• Ability to work accurately under tight deadlines.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Vision Software for billing and transaction entry.
