Account Executive – Hotel Industry

About the role

We are looking for an Account Executive to join our hotel operations in Meghauli, Chitwan. The role focuses on managing daily accounting activities, financial reporting, and supporting budgeting processes within a hospitality environment. The successful candidate will work closely with the finance team and hotel management to ensure accurate financial records.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain accurate records of all financial transactions, including income, expenses, and payments.
• Prepare monthly financial statements and management reports.
• Perform daily, weekly, and monthly bank reconciliations to keep accounts balanced.
• Handle guest billing, vendor payments, and invoicing in a timely manner.
• Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and monitoring financial targets.
• Ensure compliance with tax regulations and support audit processes.

Required profile

• 1‑2 years of experience as an Account Associate/Executive in the hotel or related industry.
• Strong relationship‑management and communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or a related field (or equivalent education).

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Word.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
• Experience using a Property Management System such as IDS or similar software.
