Account / Financial Officer

About the role

The Gupta Group Pvt. Ltd. is seeking an Account / Financial Officer to oversee day‑to‑day accounting and financial operations. The role involves maintaining accurate records, processing transactions, and supporting the company’s financial management. The successful candidate will work closely with management and auditors to ensure compliance and timely reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain accurate financial records and accounting documents.
• Record daily financial transactions and ensure proper bookkeeping.
• Prepare vouchers, invoices, bills, and payment records.
• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable.
• Perform bank reconciliation and monitor cash flow.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Assist in budgeting, financial planning, and cost control.
• Ensure timely tax deductions, VAT, and statutory compliance.
• Maintain payroll records and assist in salary processing.
• Coordinate with auditors during internal and external audits.
• Verify financial documents and ensure accuracy of accounting records.
• Maintain proper filing of financial and accounting documents.
• Support management by providing financial data and reports for decision‑making.
• Perform other finance and accounting duties as assigned by management.

Required profile

• Motivated and detail‑oriented.
• Minimum 12 months of relevant accounting or finance experience.
