Accountant / Bookkeeper (2+ years experience)

About the role

We are looking for a detail‑oriented Accountant/Bookkeeper to join our offshore finance team. The ideal candidate will handle day‑to‑day bookkeeping, support payroll and tax filing, and help us transition to modern cloud‑based reporting standards.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain daily ledgers, categorize transactions and perform bank/credit‑card reconciliations.
• Manage Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and communicate with vendors and customers.
• Assist in payroll processing, periodic tax filings and compliance tracking.
• Execute month‑end adjustments, accrual entries and balance‑sheet reconciliations.
• Prepare ad‑hoc financial reports, tax documents and support budgeting/forecasting activities.
• Learn and adapt to offshore accounting standards and cloud‑based reporting tools.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of hands‑on bookkeeping or accounting experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field; semi‑qualified CA/ACCA is a plus.
• Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
• High eagerness to learn international accounting practices.

Required skills

• Proficiency with accounting software such as Tally, Swastik, Xero or QuickBooks.
• Advanced MS Excel skills and familiarity with the Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint).
