Administration, Logistics, Procurement & Operations Officer

About the role

The Administration, Logistics, Procurement & Operations Officer supports the daily functioning of the construction business by handling office administration, coordinating material supply, and managing company vehicles. The role ensures that documentation, procurement processes, and logistics run smoothly to keep projects on schedule.

Key responsibilities

• Handle day‑to‑day office errands, document delivery, photocopying, scanning, filing and maintain document records.
• Visit banks, government offices, clients, consultants, suppliers and other organisations as required.
• Collect and compare supplier quotations, negotiate prices, and process purchase orders for construction materials.
• Coordinate material requirements between project sites, head office, suppliers, subcontractors and transporters.
• Track delivery schedules, follow up on delayed or missing items and report issues to relevant parties.
• Prepare daily vehicle schedules, coordinate drivers and oversee loading, transportation and unloading of materials.
• Maintain records of materials dispatched and received at each construction site.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in administration, logistics, procurement or related functions within the construction sector.
• Proven ability to manage office documentation and handle external visits to banks, government offices and suppliers.
• Experience coordinating material procurement, negotiating with suppliers and monitoring delivery timelines.
• Capability to organise vehicle usage, schedule drivers and oversee material transportation.
