Business Accountant

About the role

Satya Herbal and Spice Products, a Nepal‑based natural products company, is looking for a Business Accountant to join its team in Nepalganj. This full‑time, on‑site position will support the company’s financial operations, ensuring accurate bookkeeping, reporting, and compliance with local tax regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Manage day‑to‑day accounting operations, including bookkeeping, journal entries, accounts payable and receivable, and bank reconciliations.
• Prepare financial statements and support budgeting and forecasting activities.
• Monitor cash flow and ensure compliance with local tax regulations and reporting requirements.
• Maintain accurate financial records for production and sales activities.
• Coordinate with internal teams and external auditors.
• Recommend process improvements to strengthen financial controls and business efficiency.

Required profile

• Solid knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and tax compliance.
• Ability to manage bookkeeping, AP/AR, and bank reconciliations with accuracy.
• Experience in budgeting, cost tracking, and cash‑flow management.
• Proficiency with accounting software and MS Office tools, especially Excel.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and organizational skills.
• Clear written and verbal communication, able to explain financial information to non‑finance colleagues.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or a related field; professional certifications are a plus.
• Prior experience in manufacturing, agriculture, or herbal/natural products industries is advantageous.
