Business Development Manager

About the role

We are seeking a results‑driven Business Development Manager to lead student enrollment initiatives and build institutional partnerships for TekBay Academy across Nepal and beyond. The role combines sales, partnership development, and market expansion to support the academy’s growth in technology training.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute strategies to increase student enrollments and achieve monthly and quarterly revenue targets.
• Manage prospective student inquiries, conduct consultations and convert qualified leads into enrollments.
• Establish and maintain relationships with colleges, universities, corporate organisations and other educational partners.
• Prepare business proposals, negotiate partnership agreements and coordinate MoU execution.
• Collaborate with marketing to support lead‑generation campaigns and represent the academy at fairs and technology events.
• Maintain accurate CRM records, weekly sales reports and track performance against targets.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science/IT or related field (Master’s degree a plus).
• Minimum 3‑4 years of experience in business development, sales or institutional partnerships.
• Proven track record in lead generation, sales conversion and relationship management.
• Strong communication, negotiation and presentation abilities.
• Willingness to travel frequently; possession of a two‑wheeler and a valid driving licence preferred.

Required skills

• Proficiency with CRM tools.
• Advanced use of Microsoft Office.
• Knowledge of cloud computing and AWS services.
