Business Development Officer – B2B Sales (Kathmandu)

About the role

Tradeila (Singhania Overseas Ltd.) is seeking a Business Development Officer to expand its B2B importer and buyer network in Nepal. You will promote the company’s China sourcing services across categories such as luggage, fabrics, sanitaryware, and appliances, acting as the primary point of contact for Nepalese buyers.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and pursue new B2B sales opportunities in the Nepal market.
• Build and manage a pipeline of importers and buyers.
• Run the full sales cycle from lead generation to contract closing.
• Maintain and deepen relationships with existing clients to generate repeat business.
• Coordinate with internal sourcing and operations teams to ensure smooth cross‑border order fulfillment.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of experience in B2B sales, business development, or export/trading sales.
• Strong communication and negotiation abilities.
• Comfortable using fast‑moving, WhatsApp‑first buyer communication.
• Self‑driven, target‑oriented and able to own sales numbers.
• Familiarity with Nepal’s import/customs landscape is a plus.
