Business Development Officer – Event & Media Partnerships

About the role

Living With ICT is seeking a full‑time Business Development Officer to work on‑site in Kathmandu. The role focuses on identifying and securing new business opportunities, including partnerships, advertising clients, and sponsorships that support the company’s event and media strategies.

Key responsibilities

• Lead event marketing, sponsorship, advertising and partnership initiatives.
• Identify, approach and engage potential sponsors, advertisers, partners, exhibitors and clients.
• Develop sponsorship proposals, business pitches, commercial packages and partnership plans.
• Manage client and partner relationships through meetings, negotiations, follow‑ups and coordination.
• Generate new business opportunities and contribute to revenue growth.
• Coordinate with internal teams to fulfil marketing, sponsorship and partnership commitments.
• Maintain business leads, client records and ensure regular follow‑up.
• Support overall business development and organisational growth.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Management, Communications or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in business development, event marketing, sales, advertising, sponsorship or partnerships.
• Preferable experience in the event, media, technology or communications sector.
• Strong communication, negotiation, presentation, networking and client‑relationship skills.
