Business Development Officer

About the role

We are looking for a proactive Business Development Officer to drive growth for SAGAR Group, a leading IT distribution company in Nepal. The role focuses on identifying new market opportunities, building client relationships, and supporting revenue targets.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities across regions and markets.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, distributors, and key stakeholders.
• Generate sales leads, conduct client meetings, presentations, and product demonstrations.
• Prepare proposals, quotations, and partnership agreements in coordination with internal teams.
• Collaborate with product and marketing teams to execute growth strategies and campaigns.
• Manage the sales pipeline from lead generation to deal closure while meeting revenue and KPI targets.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and report performance regularly.
• Represent the company at client visits, industry events, and business meetings.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
• 1–2 years of experience in business development or sales.
• Strong negotiation, relationship management, and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a target‑driven, performance‑oriented environment.
• Experience with technology products, IT solutions, or system integrators is preferred.
