Chief Financial Officer (CFO) – Strategic Finance Leader

About the role

We are looking for a strategic and experienced Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to lead the financial management and long‑term strategy of a diversified business group. The CFO will act as a key advisor to the CEO and Board, ensuring financial sustainability, strong governance, and effective risk management across multiple business units.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement the overall financial strategy aligned with the organization’s vision.
• Provide strategic financial advice to the CEO and Board of Directors.
• Lead financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis for multiple entities.
• Ensure accurate and timely preparation of financial statements, management reports, and board reports.
• Monitor cash flow, working capital, investments, and capital allocation.
• Establish internal controls, financial policies, and governance frameworks.
• Oversee risk management, compliance, taxation, audit, and regulatory requirements.
• Evaluate new business opportunities, mergers, acquisitions, and joint ventures.
• Drive cost optimisation and operational efficiency across business units.
• Lead treasury management, banking relationships, and funding activities.
• Build, mentor, and develop a high‑performing finance team.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or related field.
• Professional qualification such as CA, ACCA, CPA, CFA preferred.
• 10–15 years of progressive finance leadership experience, including senior management roles.
• Proven expertise in financial planning, corporate finance, taxation, audit and investment analysis.
• Experience managing finance functions across diversified businesses or multiple entities.
• Strong leadership, analytical, communication and decision‑making abilities.
• Deep understanding of corporate governance and risk management practices.
