Chief Operating Officer (COO) & Business Development Manager

About the role

GECC is seeking a senior leader who will act as the right‑hand to the CEO, combining the responsibilities of a Chief Operating Officer and a Business Development Manager. The role requires a strategic mindset, strong leadership, and the ability to drive both operational excellence and revenue growth.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with the CEO to define and execute the company’s vision, operational strategy, and hiring plans.
• Translate strategic goals into actionable initiatives, including organization‑wide goal setting, performance management, and annual operations planning.
• Oversee day‑to‑day operations, HR, accounting, and ensure high employee productivity and an inclusive culture.
• Lead recruiting, onboarding, professional development, performance management, and retention efforts.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and take corrective actions when needed.
• Analyze internal processes, identify improvement opportunities, and implement business strategies aligned with short‑ and long‑term objectives.
• Partner with the CEO on sales management, budgeting, and capital investment decisions to meet growth targets.
• Monitor performance using tracking tools, prepare forecasts, and adjust plans as required.
• Build and maintain trusted relationships with key customers, partners, and stakeholders.

Required profile

• Extensive executive‑level experience, preferably within the same industry.
• Proven track record of leading high‑performing teams and driving operational efficiency.
• Strong business development background with a focus on revenue generation and client relationship management.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and decision‑making skills.
