Clinical Psychologist – Hospital

About the role

Dhulikhel Hospital is seeking a qualified Clinical Psychologist to deliver comprehensive psychological care, conduct assessments, and contribute to clinical research within a multidisciplinary team.

Key responsibilities

• Perform initial assessments of patients and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Provide counseling using evidence‑based modalities such as CBT, interpersonal therapy, and solution‑focused therapy.
• Conduct neuropsychological assessments for cognitive functioning, learning disorders, and ADHD in both adults and children.
• Lead educational programs on coping skills, stress management, and self‑care for patients and families.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, psychiatrists, and other health professionals to ensure coordinated care.
• Maintain accurate, confidential patient records and documentation.
• Design and execute scientific studies on behavior patterns and cognitive function across age groups.
• Research, write, and publish papers on mental health issues and disorders.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology.
• Minimum of 2 years of proven experience in a clinical or hospital setting.
• Experience treating children, adolescents, and adults with diverse conditions (PTSD, anxiety, depression, ADHD, grief, etc.).
• Track record of research publications and systematic reviews.

Required skills

• Proficiency in SPSS for data analysis.
• Strong command of MS Office applications.
