Collection Manager (Accounts Associate)

About the role

The Collection Manager (Accounts Associate) supports the finance department by handling bookkeeping, revenue accounting, and compliance activities. The role emphasizes accuracy, timeliness, and close collaboration with sales, collection, and vendor teams to ensure smooth financial operations.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain daily bookkeeping and record sales receipts in Tally/IMS using Salesforce data.
• Prepare product‑wise revenue accounting and manage accounts receivable/payable.
• Coordinate with the collection team to monitor outstanding receivables, follow up overdue payments, and report collections beyond 90 days.
• Reconcile petty cash, purchase bills, expense bills, stock, and fixed assets on a monthly basis.
• Identify and resolve invoicing issues, accounting discrepancies, and other financial matters.
• Assist with monthly payroll, contract and intern processing, and ensure timely filing of VAT and TDS.
• Validate and record staff travel allowances (TA/DA) according to company policy.
• Maintain regular communication with vendors and school account teams, documenting all transactions accurately.
• Support internal and external audits, including annual IRD office visits.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Tally accounting software.
• Experience using IMS for inventory and asset management.
• Familiarity with Salesforce data integration.
• Knowledge of VAT and TDS filing procedures.
• Ability to reconcile petty cash and perform financial reconciliations.
