Accountant

About the role

We are seeking a responsible and detail‑oriented Accountant to manage day‑to‑day accounting and financial activities for Connect H.R. based in Lalitpur, Nepal. The role involves maintaining accurate records, preparing financial reports and supporting budgeting and tax compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain up‑to‑date accounting records and process financial transactions.
• Prepare invoices, bills, vouchers, receipts and payment records.
• Handle accounts payable and receivable functions.
• Perform bank, cash and ledger reconciliations.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports.
• Assist in budgeting, cash‑flow statements and financial forecasts.
• Document tax‑related paperwork, including VAT and TDS.
• Coordinate with auditors, banks, suppliers and other stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, company policies and regulations.
• Support management with financial analysis and related tasks.

Required profile

• Detail‑oriented with strong numerical aptitude.
• Good knowledge of accounting principles and standards.
• Ability to maintain accurate financial records and documentation.
• Experience in handling tax documentation and statutory requirements.
• Effective communication and coordination skills.
