Communication and Reporting Analyst (UNDP Roster)

About the role

The Communications and Reporting Analyst will design and implement a comprehensive communications and visibility strategy for the UNDP Nepal project, showcasing results, innovations, and lessons learned.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, finalize and update a communications and visibility strategy aligned with UNDP standards.
• Produce high‑quality communication materials such as press releases, newsletters, infographics, reports, case studies, photo essays and short videos.
• Oversee design, layout and production of outputs, ensuring compliance with UN editorial and branding guidelines.
• Maintain a digital library of media, photographs and knowledge products.
• Track communication outputs, media coverage and audience engagement; provide quarterly updates for project progress reports.
• Coordinate outreach with national and international stakeholders and strengthen media and partner networks.
• Integrate Gender Equality and Social Inclusion (GESI) and safeguards dimensions into all communication activities.

Required profile

• Proven experience in communications, reporting or visibility work within development or UN contexts.
• Familiarity with UNDP branding, editorial standards and donor communication requirements.
• Ability to work with diverse stakeholders and manage multiple communication products simultaneously.
• Understanding of GESI principles and how to embed them in communication planning.
