Data Analyst – Sales Forecasting & BI

About the role

This position focuses on turning sales data into actionable insights for the regional market. You will work closely with sales, distribution and logistics teams to build forecasting models and visual dashboards that support strategic decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Develop regional, monthly and seasonal sales demand forecasting models.
• Analyze performance of salespersons, distributors, dealers and projects.
• Identify at‑risk customers and evaluate sales‑force ROI.
• Monitor customer credit cycles, outstanding payments and financial risks.
• Analyze market pricing, competitor movements and price elasticity.
• Track net price realization per metric ton, discounts and freight costs.
• Assess logistics and freight cost efficiency together with plant teams.
• Create and maintain automated sales dashboards using Power BI or similar tools.
• Prepare daily, weekly and monthly commercial performance reports.
• Track KPIs such as market coverage, plan compliance and target achievement.
• Conduct field visits to validate data insights against market conditions.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree; an MBA in Sales/Operations is a strong advantage.
• 2–3 years of experience as a Data Analyst, preferably in cement, building materials, paints, FMCG, tires or heavy manufacturing.
• Strong communication and presentation abilities.

Required skills

• Advanced Microsoft Excel, including Macros, Power Query and VBA.
• Proficiency in Power BI for data visualization.
• Experience extracting and analyzing data from ERP systems.
• Data modeling and forecasting techniques.
