Data Engineer – Marketing (BigQuery & Data Studio)

About the role

We are looking for a Data Engineer specialized in marketing data to design, build and maintain data pipelines and dashboards that support internal teams and clients. The role focuses on modelling data in BigQuery, automating extraction from ad platforms, and delivering actionable visualisations in Data Studio.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and own marketing dashboards in Data Studio, blending multiple data sources and creating calculated fields.
• Model marketing data in BigQuery: write clean SQL, create partitioned and clustered reporting tables, and optimise query cost.
• Develop and maintain Python scripts to ingest data from platforms such as GA4, Google Ads, Meta, handling authentication, pagination, rate limits and scheduling.
• Implement data validation, monitoring and alerting to ensure pipeline reliability and data freshness.
• Document data sources, transformation logic and dashboard definitions.
• Collaborate with analysts and account teams to translate reporting requests into robust data models.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of hands‑on experience as a Data Engineer.
• Strong expertise in SQL and Google BigQuery, including scheduled queries, partitioning, clustering and cost‑aware querying.
• Proven experience building and maintaining dashboards in Google Data Studio.
• Solid programming skills in Python for data extraction and automation.
