Driver – Transportation & Logistics for NGO

About the role

We are seeking a reliable driver to support our mission of helping vulnerable children worldwide. The role involves operating assigned vehicles safely, maintaining them in good condition, and providing logistical support to our staff and programs.

Key responsibilities

• Drive assigned cars, jeeps, motorbikes or scooters in compliance with traffic laws and organizational policies.
• Perform daily vehicle safety checks before and after trips, report any defects, accidents or security concerns immediately.
• Keep vehicles clean, schedule preventive maintenance, coordinate repairs and minimise downtime.
• Record trip details, fuel consumption and overtime in the web‑based fleet management system and assist with fleet utilization reporting.
• Ensure compliance with security policies, local traffic regulations and emergency response procedures while travelling.
• Maintain up‑to‑date vehicle documentation, insurance, permits and registrations.
• Provide general office support such as document delivery, filing, procurement errands, banking activities and logistics for meetings and visitors.

Required profile

• Minimum three years of professional driving experience, preferably with an NGO or similar organization.
• Good knowledge of traffic rules, road safety practices and defensive driving.
• Basic understanding of vehicle maintenance, daily checks and minor troubleshooting.
• Ability to drive in difficult, rural or remote conditions is an advantage.
• Strong communication, punctuality, reliability and a respectful, professional attitude.

Required skills

• Valid driving licence for cars & jeeps (Category 4) and motorbikes/scooters (Category 2).
