Finance Executive (Accounts & Reporting)

About the role

We are seeking a dedicated and detail‑oriented Accounts Executive to join our client’s team on a full‑time, on‑site basis. The selected candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, supporting financial reporting, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations, and assisting management in day‑to‑day financial operations.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain books of accounts and ensure timely recording of financial transactions.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Handle accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliations.
• Prepare and file VAT, TDS, and other statutory compliance reports.
• Assist in budgeting, cash flow management, and financial planning.
• Assist in preparation of MIS reports and periodic reporting as instructed.
• Maintain fixed asset registers and supporting documentation.
• Coordinate with auditors, tax consultants, banks, and regulatory authorities.
• Ensure compliance with prevailing accounting standards and tax regulations.
• Support management with financial analysis and operational reporting.

Required profile

• Master's/Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Management, or a related field with at least 3 years of experience in finance/accounts.
• Strong knowledge of Nepal tax laws, VAT, TDS, and financial reporting requirements.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software popular in Nepal.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and maintain confidentiality.
• Experience in preparing financial statements and dealing with audits is an added advantage.
