Finance Manager – Five‑Star Hotel

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Finance Manager to lead the financial operations of a prestigious five‑star hotel in Pokhara. The successful candidate will ensure accurate reporting, compliance with regulations, and strategic financial planning to support the hotel’s growth.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee all accounting and financial activities of the hotel.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.
• Develop, monitor, and adjust budgets, forecasts, and financial plans.
• Ensure compliance with tax, audit, and statutory requirements.
• Manage cash flow, cost control, and revenue optimization.
• Coordinate with external auditors, banks, and government agencies.
• Implement internal controls and financial policies to protect assets.
• Lead, mentor, and develop the finance and accounting team.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• 4–5 years of experience in a finance leadership role, preferably within a five‑star hotel.
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and cash‑flow management.
• Experience with audits, tax compliance, and statutory reporting.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and decision‑making abilities.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage a finance team effectively.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with ERP systems.
• Familiarity with accounting software.
