Finance Manager

About the role

Brilliant is seeking an experienced Finance Manager to lead financial operations across its multi‑entity business in Nepal. The role combines treasury, accounting, tax compliance and team leadership to support the company’s growth.

Key responsibilities

• Manage overall financial operations, cash flow, working capital and funding requirements.
• Oversee banking relationships, credit facilities, loan covenants and treasury activities.
• Lead budgeting, financial planning, variance analysis and cash‑flow forecasting.
• Ensure timely monthly and annual closings, accurate financial statements and strong internal controls.
• Supervise the finance and accounts team across manufacturing and distribution entities.
• Handle Nepalese tax compliance, statutory filings, external audits and regulatory reporting.
• Monitor payment approvals, financial controls and identify efficiency improvements.

Required profile

• Chartered Accountant (CA), Semi‑Qualified CA, or MBA in Finance.
• Minimum 4 years of finance/accounting experience, preferably in manufacturing, trading or distribution.
• Strong knowledge of Nepalese taxation, statutory compliance and company law.
• Proven experience managing banking relationships, credit facilities and working‑capital financing.
• Experience coordinating external audits and implementing internal controls.

Required skills

• Proficiency with accounting software/ERP systems.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
