Finance Officer – MIS & Reporting

About the role

We are looking for a Finance Officer to lead the preparation and maintenance of Management Information System (MIS) reports and support financial analysis across the organization. The role involves close collaboration with multiple departments to ensure accurate, timely financial data for decision‑making.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, maintain and update monthly, quarterly, semi‑annual and annual MIS reports.
• Conduct variance analysis by comparing budgeted versus actual performance and highlight key trends.
• Ensure timely, accurate and reliable financial reporting for management.
• Maintain financial databases and records to support reporting and analysis.
• Extract, validate and analyse financial data from accounting and ERP systems.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, reporting requirements and internal controls.
• Assist in preparing annual budgets, financial forecasts and planning models.
• Monitor budget utilisation and report significant variances.
• Coordinate with various departments to collect financial and operational data.
• Support internal and external audits by providing required reports and documentation.
• Identify opportunities to automate and improve MIS processes and reporting efficiency.

Required profile

• Semi‑qualified Chartered Accountant or a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration or related field (Master’s preferred).
• Minimum 2–3 years of relevant experience in finance, accounting or MIS.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft PowerPoint.
• Experience with accounting software and ERP systems.
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting and forecasting.
