Full Stack Engineer

About the role

iQVIA is looking for a Full Stack Engineer with 2+ years of experience in web application development, based in Kathmandu. The role covers designing, developing and maintaining scalable applications using Java, ReactJS, Angular, Grails, REST APIs and MySQL, working with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain full-stack web applications.
• Build and support REST APIs and backend services.
• Design and optimize MySQL databases.
• Collaborate with product, QA and engineering teams to deliver features.
• Troubleshoot application issues and ensure performance, security and reliability.
• Take part in code reviews, testing and Agile ceremonies.
• Support junior team members and contribute to technical documentation.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field.
• 2-4 years of experience in full-stack development.
• Hands-on experience with Java, ReactJS, Angular and Groovy/Grails.
• Strong understanding of Git, Agile methodologies and software development best practices.

Preferred qualifications

• Experience with Python.
• Knowledge of AWS, Docker, Kubernetes and CI/CD pipelines.
• Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools such as Copilot, Cursor, Claude and GPT.
