Product Sppt Trainee (Python)

About the role

IQVIA, a global provider of clinical research services, commercial insights and healthcare intelligence, is looking for a Product Sppt Trainee (Python) in Kathmandu. Trainees learn to write well-designed, testable and efficient code as part of the development team, working under the supervision of managers and their mentors.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze software requirements
• Write complete software or parts of it in Python
• Write industry-standard code and ensure code quality, integrity and lineage across the application platform
• Integrate product pipelines with AWS services such as S3 and Lambda
• Analyze existing systems, produce estimates and modify them according to requirements
• Perform unit tests
• Maintain documentation for the developed solutions

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science or a related field (or equivalent)
• Strong problem-solving and logical thinking skills
• Ability to work in a team and follow coding standards
• Eagerness to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment
• Good written and verbal communication skills

Required skills

• Basic understanding of Python syntax, data types and control structures
• Familiarity with object-oriented programming concepts
• Understanding of the basic software development lifecycle and tools
• Knowledge of version control tools such as Git is a plus
