General Manager – Laboratory Operations

About the role

We are looking for a motivated and dynamic General Manager to lead the day‑to‑day operations of Medi Quest Laboratory. You will ensure efficient service delivery, support business growth, and maintain strong relationships with hospitals, doctors, and corporate clients.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily laboratory operations to guarantee efficient service delivery.
• Supervise and coordinate activities across all departments for smooth workflow.
• Support business development and marketing initiatives to expand the client base.
• Build and maintain relationships with hospitals, doctors, corporate clients, and other stakeholders.
• Lead, motivate, and support staff to achieve organizational goals.
• Monitor operational performance and recommend improvements for efficiency and quality.
• Assist in planning and implementing business strategies for growth.
• Coordinate resource utilization with senior management.
• Prepare operational reports and provide regular updates to management.
• Represent the organization at meetings, networking events, and business discussions.

Required profile

• Proven experience (minimum 2 years) in managing operations, preferably in a laboratory or healthcare setting.
• Strong leadership and team‑building abilities.
• Excellent communication and relationship‑management skills.
• Analytical mindset with a focus on continuous improvement.
• Ability to work collaboratively with senior management and external partners.
