General Manager – Luxury Hotel

About the role

The Luxury Collection by Marriott, a unit of MIT Group Holdings Nepal, is seeking an experienced General Manager to lead its flagship five‑star property in Kathmandu. This senior executive will be responsible for steering the hotel’s overall performance, ensuring operational excellence, and delivering an unparalleled guest experience.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute business strategies to achieve revenue and profitability targets.
• Oversee all hotel operations, including front office, food & beverage, housekeeping, and engineering.
• Lead pre‑opening activities, budgeting, and cost control measures.
• Drive sales development initiatives and build strong market relationships.
• Ensure compliance with brand standards and local regulations.

Required profile

• Degree in Hotel Management from a recognized international university.
• Minimum 20 years of General Manager experience in renowned five‑star hotels across Europe, the Middle East, or Asia.
• Proven expertise in business strategy, sales development, and operational efficiency.
• Strong leadership, business acumen, and strategic planning abilities.
• Fluency in English, German, French, and Dutch.
