Head of Maintenance & Electrical Engineering

About the role

The company is seeking a senior leader to head the maintenance and electrical engineering function of its flour manufacturing plant in Birgunj. The role ensures reliable plant operations, minimizes downtime, and supports continuous production.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the overall maintenance and engineering activities across production machinery, electrical systems, utilities and infrastructure.
• Develop and implement maintenance strategies to maximise equipment reliability.
• Coordinate with production and other departments to ensure uninterrupted manufacturing.
• Monitor compliance with safety, electrical and statutory regulations.
• Mentor and develop the maintenance team to meet departmental objectives.
• Drive continuous‑improvement projects, equipment upgrades and plant expansion initiatives.
• Track maintenance performance, engineering documentation and asset reliability.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Industrial Engineering or a related field.
• 7–10 years of experience in plant maintenance and engineering, preferably in flour milling, food processing or FMCG.
• Proven experience leading maintenance teams in a manufacturing environment.
