HR Manager – Recruitment, Employee Relations & Performance

About the role

We are seeking an experienced HR Manager to lead all human‑resources functions for a reputable trading company. The role involves overseeing recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, performance management, policy development, payroll coordination and fostering a positive workplace culture.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the full recruitment cycle from vacancy identification to onboarding, using job portals, social media, agencies and referrals.
• Coordinate employee onboarding, documentation, background checks and induction programs.
• Serve as the primary contact for employee concerns, grievances and disciplinary matters, promoting a respectful and inclusive environment.
• Develop and administer performance appraisal processes, probation reviews, promotions and corrective actions.
• Create, implement and regularly review HR policies and procedures, ensuring consistent application across the organisation.
• Monitor attendance, leave and working hours, and collaborate with payroll to ensure accurate salary processing.
• Maintain confidential employee records and an updated candidate database.

Required profile

• Proven experience as an HR Manager or in a senior HR role.
• Strong knowledge of recruitment, onboarding, employee relations and performance management.
• Ability to develop and communicate HR policies and procedures.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with a proactive, solution‑focused attitude.
