Human Resources Manager – Hospital

About the role

We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Human Resources Manager to lead the HR function of our hospital and institute. The role involves shaping HR policies, overseeing the full employee lifecycle, and ensuring compliance with labour regulations while fostering a motivated, patient‑focused workforce.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, implement and regularly review HR policies, procedures and systems aligned with organisational goals and legal requirements.
• Manage the complete employee lifecycle: manpower planning, recruitment, onboarding, transfers, promotions, performance management, engagement and separation.
• Lead end‑to‑end talent acquisition for clinical, technical, administrative and support positions.
• Maintain accurate, confidential employee records, HR databases, attendance and leave documentation.
• Coordinate payroll, benefits, compensation and other HR‑related administrative functions.
• Handle employee relations, grievances and disciplinary matters with fairness and confidentiality.
• Design and execute employee engagement, recognition and retention initiatives.
• Identify training needs and organise orientation, professional development and other staff training programmes.
• Ensure compliance with labour laws, internal policies and statutory requirements.
• Prepare regular HR reports and analytics on manpower, turnover, attendance, training and performance.

Required profile

• Minimum 4 years of relevant HR experience, preferably in a healthcare setting.
• Proven ability to manage full‑cycle recruitment and talent acquisition.
• Strong knowledge of Nepalese labour laws and HR best practices.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a focus on confidentiality.
• Ability to work collaboratively with hospital management, department heads and clinical teams.
