Human Resources Officer

About the role

Manavsewa Ashram is seeking a proactive Human Resources Officer to lead its HR function. The role combines strategic HR management with day‑to‑day operational responsibilities, ensuring compliance, employee engagement, and continuous improvement of HR processes.

Key responsibilities

• Lead full‑cycle recruitment, onboarding, and talent acquisition initiatives.
• Manage HR operations including attendance, leave, payroll, and benefits administration.
• Implement, update, and communicate HR policies, procedures, and systems.
• Oversee performance management, staff development, and succession planning.
• Handle employee grievances, disciplinary actions, and conflict resolution with fairness.
• Ensure compliance with labor laws, Social Security Fund (SSF) regulations, and occupational health and safety standards.
• Support organizational restructuring and provide HR data analytics for strategic decisions.
• Supervise junior HR officers or assistants as required.
• Lead HR digitalization projects and drive continuous improvement.
• Prepare detailed HR reports and analytical insights for senior leadership.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
• 3–5 years of HR experience, including at least 2 years in a senior or supervisory role.
• Strong knowledge of Nepalese labor law, SSF, payroll management, and HR systems.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both Nepali and English.
• Demonstrated leadership, interpersonal, and problem‑solving abilities.

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Office.
• Experience with HRMS tools.
