Income Auditor – Hotel Revenue Specialist

About the role

The Income Auditor will safeguard the accuracy of daily revenue across all hotel departments, ensuring every transaction is recorded correctly and financial controls are robust. You will work closely with front‑office, F&B, sales and finance teams to deliver reliable revenue reporting for Crowne Plaza Kathmandu Pulchowk.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct daily audits of revenue from rooms, food & beverage, banquets, spa, laundry and other outlets.
• Reconcile Opera PMS, POS systems, payment gateways, credit‑card and cash records.
• Review postings, discounts, voids, refunds and complimentary items for proper authorization.
• Identify and investigate revenue discrepancies, coordinating corrective actions with relevant departments.
• Prepare audit reports, reconciliation statements and exception reports for management.
• Support month‑end closing, revenue reconciliations and external/internal audit requests.
• Monitor internal controls to detect potential revenue leakage or process gaps.

Required profile

• Diploma or higher qualification in finance, accounting or a related field.
• Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate across multiple hotel functions.
• High level of integrity and confidentiality in handling financial data.
