Junior Accountant

About the role

The Junior Accountant will support the day‑to‑day accounting operations of the organization, ensuring accurate invoicing, payment verification and record‑keeping. This entry‑level position is ideal for candidates with strong numerical abilities and a basic understanding of accounting principles.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and process invoices accurately and promptly.
• Verify payments and supporting documentation for correctness and compliance.
• Manage billing activities and maintain customer billing records.
• Record and reconcile petty cash transactions.
• Enter and maintain inventory records in the accounting system.
• Assist in maintaining books of accounts and financial documentation.
• Perform data entry and ensure the accuracy of financial records.
• Support month‑end and year‑end accounting activities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or a related field (currently pursuing or completed).
• Minimum 1 year of experience in accounting, billing, invoicing or related finance functions.
• Basic knowledge of accounting principles and bookkeeping practices.
• Good communication and organizational abilities.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications.
• Experience with invoicing, billing and payment verification processes.
