Junior Architect

About the role

The Junior Architect will support the planning, design, and development of architectural projects, working closely with senior team members to turn concepts into detailed drawings and documentation. This full‑time, on‑site position is based in Kathmandu and involves regular collaboration with internal teams and project sites.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare design sketches and assist in 2D/3D modeling.
• Coordinate with internal teams to ensure project alignment.
• Help ensure designs comply with local regulations and standards.
• Collaborate on project timelines and contribute to design reviews.
• Support integration of architectural elements with related systems or disciplines.

Required profile

• Strong foundation in Architecture and Architectural Design.
• Basic understanding of software development and integration as they relate to architectural tools or BIM platforms.
• Entry‑level project management skills (task prioritization, time management, cross‑functional coordination).
• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or a closely related field.
• Attention to detail, analytical and problem‑solving abilities, and willingness to learn from feedback.
• Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in an on‑site team environment.
• Knowledge of local building codes, materials, and construction practices in Nepal is an advantage.

Required skills

• Proficiency in architectural design software such as AutoCAD.
• Proficiency in SketchUp.
• Proficiency in Revit or similar BIM platforms.
