Junior Business Development Officer – Training & Dealer Support

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Junior Business Development Officer to support BYD’s dealer network across Nepal. The role focuses on dealer onboarding, showroom setup, branding compliance, and delivering training programs to enhance sales and operational performance.

Key responsibilities

• Support BYD dealer development and dealership building activities, including showroom setup, branding, infrastructure, and compliance with prescribed standards.
• Conduct regular dealer inspections across Nepal to monitor operational, sales, customer service, branding, and facility standards.
• Coordinate and deliver training programs for dealer sales and operational staff covering product knowledge, sales techniques, customer handling, EV awareness, and business processes.
• Identify dealer training and performance gaps, prepare action plans, and follow up on corrective and improvement measures.
• Support new dealer onboarding and development, ensuring dealers and their employees are properly oriented on BYD standards, policies, products, and processes.
• Monitor dealer performance, market activities, and competitor practices, providing insights and recommendations to management.
• Prepare dealer inspection reports, training records, performance reports, and MIS while maintaining effective relationships with dealer principals and key personnel.

Required profile

• At least 1 year of experience in business development, sales support, or a related field.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact with dealer principals and staff.
• Ability to travel across Nepal for dealer inspections and training sessions.

Required skills

• Knowledge of electric vehicle (EV) products and market dynamics.
• Familiarity with sales techniques and customer handling.
• Basic reporting and data management abilities.
