About the role
We are seeking a proactive Legal and Compliance Officer to join our team in Kathmandu. The role involves providing legal advice, ensuring corporate compliance, and supporting the organization’s governance framework.
Key responsibilities
- Provide legal advisory services and ensure adherence to corporate and commercial laws.
- Draft, review, and manage contracts and related documentation.
- Monitor regulatory requirements and maintain proper compliance records.
- Coordinate litigation matters and dispute resolution processes.
- Oversee corporate governance activities, including statutory filings.
- Act as liaison with government agencies and regulatory authorities.
Required profile
- LL.B. degree from a recognized university.
- 3–5 years of experience in legal and compliance functions.
- Strong knowledge of Nepalese corporate and commercial legislation.
- Excellent legal drafting, research, and communication abilities.
- Fluent in Nepali and English.
