Legal Executive

About the role

The Legal Executive will provide comprehensive legal support to Saras Beverage, ensuring compliance with Nepalese laws and regulations. This role involves drafting and reviewing contracts, coordinating with government authorities, and managing corporate documentation to mitigate legal risks.

Key responsibilities

• Provide day‑to‑day legal advice on corporate and business matters.
• Ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements.
• Draft, review, and maintain contracts, agreements, notices and other legal documents.
• Prepare minutes, resolutions and other corporate documents for company meetings.
• Monitor legal and regulatory changes and advise management accordingly.
• Liaise with ministries, regulatory bodies and external stakeholders on compliance issues.
• Assist in obtaining and maintaining licenses, approvals and registrations.
• Identify legal risks in transactions and recommend appropriate actions.
• Coordinate with external counsel and professional advisors when needed.
• Maintain organized records of contracts, correspondence and compliance matters.
• Support handling of disputes, claims and legal proceedings.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of relevant legal experience (24 months indicated).
• Proven ability to draft and review business contracts and corporate documents.
• Familiarity with Nepalese corporate law and regulatory frameworks.
• Strong communication skills for interaction with government authorities and external counsel.
