Licensed Physiotherapist – Geriatric Home Care

About the role

Saathi Sneha Care is seeking a licensed physiotherapist to provide home‑based geriatric care across the Kathmandu Valley. The professional will assess elderly patients in their own homes and deliver personalized physiotherapy and rehabilitation programs aimed at improving mobility, functional independence, and overall quality of life.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive physiotherapy assessments covering pain, range of motion, muscle strength, balance, gait, and fall risk.
• Develop individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient’s orthopedic, neurological, post‑surgical, or age‑related conditions.
• Deliver therapeutic exercises, stretching, strengthening, mobility, balance, and gait training in the patient’s home.
• Educate patients and caregivers on safe transfers, home exercises, fall prevention, and proper use of assistive devices such as walkers and canes.
• Monitor progress, document clinical records confidentially, and adjust treatment plans as needed.
• Communicate changes in patient condition to families and coordinate care with doctors, nurses, and care coordinators.

Required profile

• Licensed physiotherapist with experience in geriatric or elderly care.
• Ability to work independently in patients’ homes while maintaining a professional and compassionate approach.
• Strong communication skills for interacting with patients, families, and multidisciplinary healthcare teams.
