Marketing Head – Kathmandu, Nepal

About the role

The Marketing Head will lead all marketing activities for multiple therapy brands in Nepal, reporting to the regional headquarters. This senior position is based in Kathmandu and is open to expat candidates currently residing in India.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies across therapies and brands.
• Build and maintain strong brand presence while monitoring marketing expenses.
• Lead a local team of five brand managers, ensuring successful implementation of planned strategies.
• Manage KOL development, promotional input planning, and inventory control.
• Coordinate with printers, suppliers, and stall fabricators for promotional materials, gifts, and conference assets.
• Analyze market data (IMS, Close‑up, Tertiary), sales performance, and competitor activity, delivering monthly reports.
• Monitor budget adherence for promotional activities on a quarterly basis.
• Identify future product opportunities and conduct market research for new launches.
• Organise and support local DGMs, CME events, RTDs, and conference participation.

Required profile

• 12–14 years of marketing experience, preferably in the pharmaceutical or healthcare sector.
• Educational background: B.Pharm and MBA (Marketing) or equivalent.
• Proven track record of leading marketing teams and managing multi‑brand portfolios.
• Experience with KOL engagement, promotional budgeting, and market analysis.
