Mid Finance Manager (Semi-Qualified CA)

About the role

We are seeking a hands‑on, detail‑oriented Mid‑Level Finance Manager to oversee day‑to‑day finance and accounting operations in a manufacturing environment. The role is ideal for a semi‑qualified CA or finance professional with direct experience in cost and inventory accounting within a production setting.

Key responsibilities

• Manage product and manufacturing cost accounting, including raw materials, WIP, and finished goods.
• Prepare and analyse product costing, cost sheets and cost variance reports.
• Record purchase transactions, material receipts, GRNs and inventory movements in the ERP system.
• Reconcile physical inventory with system records and support periodic stock verification.
• Handle day‑to‑day accounting tasks: journal entries, ledger scrutiny, month‑end closing, and financial statement preparation.
• Prepare MIS, management and financial reports; support budgeting and forecasting.
• Ensure compliance with VAT, TDS, income tax and other statutory requirements; coordinate audit activities.
• Maintain internal controls over purchases, inventory, expenses and financial transactions.

Required profile

• Mid‑level finance professional with practical experience in a manufacturing company.
• Semi‑qualified CA or equivalent finance qualification.
• Strong understanding of cost accounting, inventory accounting and ERP/accounting systems.
• Ability to work cross‑functionally with production, procurement, warehouse and store teams.
